KSP: Knox County man in critical condition after stabbing

CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox County man was dropped off at a hospital in Corbin Friday night suffering from a stab wound to the chest, according to State Police.

Investigators say Michael Shane McCormick was stabbed in the Moore Hill community of Knox County.  He was dropped-off at Baptist Health in Corbin by unknown persons, according to KSP.

McCormick was eventually transferred to UK Hospital in critical condition, according to State Police.  The case is still under investigation.
