KSP: Kentucky man found dead after dog attack

GILBERSTVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An autopsy Sunday revealed a dog attack killed Brian Butler of Benton. According to the Medical Examiner, ‘sharp force trauma from a dog attack’ was the cause of death.

KSP says, Butler was found dead in Gilberstville on the side of the road around eight Saturday night.

State police say two pitbulls were found in the area near where Butler died.

Animal control quarantined the dogs.

Police say there may be other dogs involved in the attack.
