KSP investigating the death of a woman in Floyd County

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a 32-year-old woman found in Floyd County.

Troopers say Trishanna Anderson of Garrett was discovered unresponsive near railroad tracks on Mulberry Lane in Hueysville on March 7.

According to officials, Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office.

Authorities say her body has been sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

The cause of death remains under investigation.
