KSP investigating suspicious fire in Boyle County

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a fire that damaged a home in Junction City over the weekend.

Investigators say it happened on Hickory Lane around 12:45 a.m. Saturday.

When the fire was put out, firefighters noticed that the majority of the damage was isolated to the exterior of the mobile home.

During the investigation, investigators learned a suspicious person wearing an orange shirt and gray sweatpants was seen in the area just before the fire.

The Arson Task Force is offering up to a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for starting the fire.
