KSP investigating officer involved shooting

MAYFIELD, KY (WTVQ) –The officer involved in a shooting on August 18th has been identified.

Lieutenant Daniel Crowfoot is a 16 year veteran of Mayfield Police Department.

He remains on paid administrative leave pending the Kentucky State Police investigation of the shooting.

The suspect, Andrew Chamberlain, remains at Deaconess Hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is continuing by the KSP Critical Incident Response Team.
