KSP investigating fire in Lee Co.

BEATTYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police in Richmond are investigating a fire in a multi-family residential structure on Country Club Road in Lee Co.

Officers say they received a call about the fire just after 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Fire officials tell us that the fire started in the back of the residence. They tell us that 13 people were inside at the time of the fire. According to the fire captain three people are still missing.

According to police, the scene remains active as the fire is investigated. We will release additional information as it becomes available.
