KSP investigates robbery in Pike County
BELFRY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Kentucky State Police are investigating a robbery that took place in Pike County on Saturday.
KSP Post 9 Pikeville received a 911 call of a robbery at the Belfry 7/11 early Saturday morning.
When troopers responded to the scene they determined that two unknown males entered the business.
KSP reported that the two men approached the clerk and one of them threw hot coffee in the clerk’s face.
One of the men then took an undisclosed amount of money from the register.
The two males fled the 7/11 on foot.
Both males were described as wearing sweatshirts, blue jeans, and ball caps.
The Kentucky State Police is asking for help from the public.

The incident is still under investigation by KSP Trooper Michael Coleman.
