UPDATE: Name released of man killed in Pike Co. shooting

UPDATE: PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- We now know the name of the man who was shot to death at a home in Pikeville Monday.

The Pike County Coroner identifies this man as 21-year-old Amari Hall of Detroit, Michigan.

KSP is still investigating and asks for the public’s help in locating a blue Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows.

PIKEVILLE, KY (WTVQ)- Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of an unidentified man in the Pikeville community in Pike County.

KSP Pikeville Post received a call on Monday, July 02, 2018 from a resident on Sunny Lane in the Pikeville community.

The caller told KSP Post 09 dispatch shots were fired at the caller’s home.

Three men with gunshot wounds were found at the scene when Troopers and Detectives arrived.

Two of the men were taken and are being treated at a local medical facility for non-life threatening injuries.

The third man found at the scene was deceased at the scene and has not been identified.

KSP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a blue Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows that is possibly connected to this incident.

This incident remains under investigation.
