KSP investigates deadly Powell County shooting

STANTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Powell County.

The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday at 606 Cow Creek Road in Stanton.

Police say a woman in the home was confronted by 39-year-old Steven Strange.

They say Strange was shot in the chest with a 12-gauge shotgun.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Powell County coroner.
