KSP: Inmate escapes in Jackson County

MCKEE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say an inmate walked away from a work release detail in Jackson County around noon Monday near the intersection of KY 3630 and KY 2002.

36-year old Timothy Engle, of Barbourville, is 5’5,” 123-pounds with green eyes and partially gray hair, according to KSP.

He was last seen wearing an orange shirt that read, ‘Jackson County Work Release.’ He was also wearing blue jeans and boots.

State Police say he was in jail serving a sentence for Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Anyone with information about Engle’s whereabouts is asked to call KSP Post 7 at 859-623-2404.
