KSP: Greenville man killed in collision wasn’t wearing a seat belt
MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Greenville man killed in a collision Tuesday wasn’t wearing a seat belt, according to Kentucky State Police.
Investigators say 46-year old Terry Carroll was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima on KY 181, about ten miles south of Greenville, when he crossed into the other lane and collided with a 2013 Ford Explorer.
KSP says Carroll died at the scene. The driver of the SUV, 48-year old Daniel Greenwalt, of Greenville, had to be cut out of the vehicle and was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, according to State Police.
Trooper Hunter Carroll is heading-up the ongoing investigation.
