KSP: Former Water District employee arrested on theft charges

SALEM, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police arrested a former Crittenden-Livingston County Water District employee on theft charges related to customer payments.

Investigators say 53-year old Kimberly Glitz-Black, of Marion, stole nearly $9,700 by manipulating customer payments.

All the stolen money has been accounted for and a majority of it has been recovered, according to State Police.

No customer accounts were adversely affected by the theft, according to KSP.

Glitz-Black was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, over $500 but less than $10,000 (Class D Felony).

She was lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Michael Robichaud. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555.

Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
