KSP: Former Harrison Co. teacher arrested on rape, sodomy charges

HARRISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police say after investigation, and presenting the case to a grand jury, a Harrison County teacher has been arrested on an indictment warrant.

They say Amanda Phillips was arrested on counts of sexual abuse, rape, and sodomy.

Phillips was employed by the Harrison County School District as a special needs teacher for Eastside Elementary School.

They say the victim in the case was a former student and was 13-years-old at the time of the relationship.
