KSP: Cynthiana man accused of child sex abuse

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say a Cynthiana man has been arrested on Fayette County indictments of sodomy and sexual abuse charges.

Troopers say 57-year-old William “Billy” Hyatt is charged with two counts of Sodomy 1st (Victim Less Than 12 Years of Age) and one charge of Sexual Abuse 1st (Victim Less Than 12 Years of Age).

Hyatt is being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center. State police is asking anyone with information on the case to contact Detective Luke Vanhoose, Kentucky State Police Post 12, Frankfort, (502) 227-2221.
