KSP: Children found in deplorable conditions during bust in Clay City
CLAY CITY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say two children were found living in deplorable conditions, which includes meth precursors and supplies, during an arrest at a home in Clay City on Tuesday.
Investigators say the discovery was made when authorities went to a home on Tori Ann Drive to serve a warrant on 43-year old Darrell Meadows. State Police say Meadows was arrested without incident and charged with Probation Violation.
State Police say they also arrested 32-year old Sara Mullins of Clay City and charged her with Wanton Endangerment, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Meadows and Mullins were both lodged in the Powell County Detention Center.
