KSP await toxicology results in deadly motorcycle collision

VIRGIE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police are waiting on toxicology results to help determine if a driver will be charged in connection to a deadly motorcycle collision in Pike County.

Investigators say 20-year old Jordan Wright, of Jonancy, was riding his motorcycle east on KY 1469 last Friday afternoon when the vehicle in front of him made a U-turn.

KSP says Wright’s motorcycle hit the vehicle in the driver’s side door.  Wright died at the scene.

State Police say no charges have been filed in the case, but that could change depending on the vehicle driver’s toxicology results.
