KSP asking for public’s help in cold case murder
GUTHRIE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police hope the public can help with a three-year-old cold case murder.
State Police say 79-year-old Amos Yoder was found dead at his home on Old Trenton Road, in Guthrie, on June 28, 2015.
Investigators say Yoder and his wife, 75-year-old Marjorie Yoder, were sleeping when suspects came into their home around 2 a.m. and demanded money.
They bound and beat the Yoders then left with money.
Marjorie Yoder suffered serious injuries from the assault.
Investigators say since the murder, multiple interviews have been conducted, however, no arrests have been made.
