KSP arrest man for trafficking meth
EDDYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Paducah man is behind bars after troopers find meth in his vehicle.
Kentucky State Police stopped a car Sunday night near the 40 mile marker on I-24 in Lyon County for speeding.
Troopers searched the car during the traffic stop and located a small quantity of marijuana along with approximately 7 ounces of methamphetamine.
28 year-old Cynthia Snyder of Paducah was cited for possession of marijuana, but was released with the vehicle.
36 year-old Jerick Carruthers, also of Paducah, was arrested and charged with speeding, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, and first degree trafficking a controlled substance (Methamphetamine).
The investigation is still ongoing.
