KSP: Argument leads to deadly shooting in Liberty
LIBERTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say an argument led to a deadly shooting in Liberty.
It happened shortly after 1:00 a.m. CST on Sunday on Cannon Road, according to KSP.
Investigators say 53-year old Thomas Robert Moser, of Stanford, arrived at a home where his estranged girlfriend and others were working. They say Moser got into an argument with 71-year old Leonard Walls, of Liberty.
The argument escalated when Moser physically threatened Walls, who shot Moser in the chest, according to State Police.
Moser was rushed to Casey County Hospital where he later died, according to KSP.
No one was arrested or charged in the case, according to investigators. The case will be presented to the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for consideration, according to State Police.
