KSP: Argument, gunfire sends woman to hospital

HUEYSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police in Pikeville are investigating a shooting that sent one woman to the hospital.

Troopers say they received a call on Monday, reporting that 23-year-old Amanda Jackson, of Martin, had been shot.  Investigators say that they believe several people got into an argument, resulting in multiple shots fired by various people in the argument.  Jackson was hit in the volley of gunfire.

She was taken to Pikeville Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Troopers say charges are still pending.
