Knox County woman charged with murder
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox County woman is charged with murder after a man is found stabbed along a road.
The Barbourville Police Department say they took 34-year-old Jessica Hubbard into custody Tuesday, shortly after finding 38-year-old Don Woolum, Jr. lying off the side of the road bleeding.
He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say witnesses indicated Woolum was stabbed by Hubbard following a short altercation.
She was treated for minor injuries at the hospital and later taken to the Knox County jail.
