Knox County man charged in sexual abuse case

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox County man is accused of using Facebook Messenger to knowingly have sexual conversations with a disabled young girl, according to State Police.

Investigators say Jerry Smith was arrested Monday morning.  He faces sexual abuse and other charges.

He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
