Knox County bridge replacement to start Sept. 7

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – Drivers should be aware of an upcoming bridge replacement project in Knox County.

Pending relocation of a water line, the replacement of the East Bennett Branch Road Bridge over Little Poplar Creek will start Tuesday, Sept. 7 and will use a temporary onsite diversion during construction.

Traffic is expected to be impacted for up to 60 days.

The new bridge should open to traffic by Saturday, Nov. 6.
