Knox County Board of Education votes to delay start of school

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Knox County Board of Education voted Monday to delay the start of school until Tuesday, September 8, 2020, according to the school district.

All students will begin the school year with Learning@Home.

There will be no in-person instruction to begin the year.

In-person classes are scheduled to begin Monday, September 28, 2020, according to the school district.

Additional details and information will be released by the school district this week.
