Knox Co. woman indicted in fatal assault

CORBIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox County woman has been indicted in a fatal assault.

24-year-old Hailey Bond was arrested back in April, accused of beating 66-year-old Lily Sizemore.

The Corbin Times-Tribune newspaper  says Bond was assaulting her father when Sizemore stepped in to stop her.

Police say Bond then began beating Sizemore.

She was taken to UK hospital where she died a few days later from her injuries.

The Corbin Times-Tribune says, on Monday, a grand jury indicted bond with murder.
