Knox Co. student arrested after bomb threat
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Knox Co. student has been arrested after a bomb threat on Monday.
Police say the threat surfaced at Knox Central High School just before noon, but it turned out to be a hoax.
Students were evacuated from the building while Barbourville Police and the Knox Co. Sheriff investigated.
Even though it was a hoax, students were dismissed for the day. School was cancelled for Tuesday as well.
Police think the threat was inspired by another bomb threat in Knox county last week.
