Knox Co. deputy suspended after criminal complaint

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) — A Knox County Sheriff’s Deputy is suspended from duty after a criminal complaint was filed against him, according to the Mountain Advocate.

Deputy Claude Hudson is facing a criminal complaint out of Jackson County.

The nature of the complaint is not known at this time.

A statement from Sheriff Mike Smith says, “The Knox Co Sheriff’s Office received notification that a criminal complaint was filed on Deputy Claude Hudson in Jackson County Ky, Saturday, December 30th, 2018. Kentucky State Police are investigating. Hudson was immediately suspended from duty pending this investigation.”
