Kim Davis to speak in Bardstown at National Day of Prayer event

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Controversial Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis will be making an appearance in Bardstown this week.

According to the Kentucky Standard, Davis is the scheduled speaker for a National Day of Prayer event.

Davis is the county clerk who became the focus of a national controversy two years ago, when she refused to authorize marriage licenses for same-sex couples.

She will speak this Thursday at the Bardstown Farmer’s Market.
