Kim Davis returns to work Monday

Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis reports back to work Monday.
The Rowan County Clerk’s Office opens at 8 a.m.and Davis is expected to come back, less than a week after being released from jail.
Davis spent five days in jail after defying a court order by refusing to issue marriage licenses to legally eligible couples.
She argued her religious convictions prohibited her from giving licenses to same-sex couples.
U.S. District Judge David Bunning released Davis from jail – on the condition that she not interfere with her deputy clerks if they issues marriage licenses to any same-sex couple.
If she does, she could end up back in jail
Davis’ lawyers at Liberty Counsel have not offered specifics on what she plans to do.
They did file a motion Friday in a federal appeals court, asking that she be allowed to stop her office from issuing any more marriage licenses until the case is resolved and all possible appeals are exhausted.
The earliest that decision can be made, according to her attorneys, is Wednesday.
