Kiehl’s Fundraiser rides through Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- If you spent time at the mall Saturday, you may have seen a pack of motorcycles. That was part of Kiehl’s eighth annual ride to raise money for amfAR, a non-profit raising money to try to fund a vaccine that would end AIDS and HIV in the next three years.

The ride stopped at Dillard’s as part of the eight day multi-city charity ride.

“You have all these big bikers and you think, “My God, this is like a motorcycle club,” so it gets everyone’s attention. Then you hit people with the message because people care. People want to know what to do and lots of times they just don’t know how to,” Chris Salgardo, Kiehl’s President, said.

Kiehl’s says it will donate $100,000 over the course of the ride.
