They’re still doing their jobs.
Officer Chris Neal says, “It actually makes us want to come in more and show the support for those guys down there and keep the name of policing alive.”
And officers say during these tough times, every small act of kindness counts.
Chief Gregory says “Probably everyday that we’ve had somebody bringing gift bags or gift baskets, food…”
Officer Neal says, “It definitely adds up. They came up and it’s 90 degrees outside and they’re all sweating. And they come out and put their costumes on and we greatly appreciate it.’
And the officers are sending that love right back handing out stuffed animals to the kids and giving them an inside look behind the wheel.

And they’re changing perceptions about law enforcement for our future generation.
Chief Gregory says, “interacting with police and not being afraid. that means a lot.”
Lamb says, “I hope they learn that you should always be grateful for the police because they do a lot for us, because they catch the bad people.”
