Kids can get letters delivered to Santa at Lexington library event

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Children can send their letters to Santa at an event Saturday at the Lexington Public Library.

The library and the Lexington Post Office are partnering up for a program that lets children write to Santa and drop it in an elf bag to be delivered to the North Pole.

Letters from the program will be mailed to the Anchorage, Alaska, postmaster. Parents who include a Santa reply in an addressed stamped envelope will have their reply mailed to their children from there.

The program happens Saturday, December 9 at 11 a.m. at the Central Library at 140 East Main Street in Lexington.
