Kentucky’s first flu-related death in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Lexington Health Department says a person has died from the flu in Lexington.

They say this is the state’s first flu-related death.

The health department says a flu shot is recommended for everyone ages 6 months and above, especially those who are 65 and older.

The health department is providing free flu shots to the community from 12-6 p.m. Thursday in a special one-day only clinic.
