Kentucky women back in win column after two game losing streak; defeat Georgia 84-55
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – After falling in their last two games, the cats needed to avoid a three-game losing streak on Sunday against the Bulldogs.
The cats came out and hit on all cylinders.
Ironically, against Georgia, Georgia Amoore led the cats with 21 points and seven assists.
Dazia Lawrence was next with 15 points. Teonni Key tallied 14 points and 14 boards. Clara Strack and Amelia Hassett also had 14 points each; Hassett draining four three-pointers in Sunday’s game.
Kentucky cruised to a 84-55 win and moved to 9-3 in the SEC.
The cats head to Columbia to take on the 2-10 Missouri tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
