Kentucky woman charged after fatal crash
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — A southern Kentucky woman has been charged with murder after a crash that killed a recent high school graduate riding a motorcycle.
The Daily News reported (http://bit.ly/1ouf4OW ) that a grand jury also charged 28-year-old Kathy Keller of Bowling Green with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and one count of operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Police say Keller struck 18-year-old Alexander Harkins on June 25 as Harkins, a recent graduate of Greenwood High School attempted to make a left turn. Harkins was pronounced from a lacerated aorta at The Medical Center.
Keller was uninjured, as were her two children, an 18-month-old toddler and a 7-year-old.
Keller is in Warren County Regional Jail in lieu of a $250,000 cash bond.
