Kentucky volleyball wins seventh match in a row

Beat Texas A&M and LSU over the weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky volleyball continues to win after a 2-0 weekend at home in the SEC.

Brooklyn DeLeye led the team in kills with 11 and Eleanor Beavin had a team high three aces.

UK beat Texas A&M and LSU in straight sets on Friday and Sunday. The wins move the team’s winning streak to seven matches.

The Wildcats have not conceded a set in six of those wins. Overall, UK is 16-7 (9-2) and has a 9-3 mark at home.

Last season, the Cats went on an 18 game winning streak that ended in the NCAA Regional Semifinal at the hands of Arkansas.

Up next for UK is another home match. The Cats face Georgia on November 17 at 1:30 p.m.
