Kentucky Volleyball sets all time regular season TV viewership record
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky Volleyball’s Sunday matchup against No. 1 Nebraska set TV records. The game had over 1.2 million viewers watch the game live on ABC, where the Wildcats gave the Cornhuskers a run for their money.
Kentucky took Nebraska to a five set thriller at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville this past weekend. The matchup between these two programs is the only matchup that will air on ABC all season until the National Championship game on Sunday December 21st.
The Wildcats will now head to State College, Pennsylvania, where they will begin a two match weekend tournament hosted by the Penn State Nittany Lions. Kentucky will face off against the hosts on Friday followed by a match with New Hampshire on Saturday.
