Kentucky Swimming and Diving adds 21 for 2022 signing class

The new class features 10 men and 11 women 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (UK Athletics) – The University of Kentucky swimming and diving program has added 21 newcomers for the 2022-23 season during the fall signing period, as announced by head coach Lars Jorgensen on Tuesday. The signees include 10 for the men’s team and 11 for the women’s squad.

“We are extremely excited about this group of 21 swimmers and divers for our 2022 signing class,” said Jorgensen. “Our entire staff, especially our two recruiting coordinators, did a great job, and each student-athlete we’re bringing in will be able to impact our program at both the SEC and national level.”

The newcomers represent 10 different states — Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia — as well as two countries — the United States and Canada. Additionally, the class features 20 swimmers and one diver.
