Kentucky State Police investigating deaths of two men found in SUV in Menifee County

WELLINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are investigating the deaths of two men found inside a vehicle in Menifee County on Friday morning.

According to a news release, KSP was contacted around 8 a.m. by the Menifee County Sheriff’s Office for assistance with a death investigation. Troopers and detectives responded to a residence on Highway 2071 in the Wellington community, where they discovered two deceased men inside a black Cadillac Escalade. The vehicle was parked in a garage with the engine running.

Authorities identified the victims as 53-year-old Johnny Dean Wells and 37-year-old William G. Morgan, both from Cleveland, Ohio.

The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
