Kentucky snags another five-star recruit in Savvy Swords

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kenny Brooks and Kentucky Women’s Basketball landed a major win on Saturday with the commitment of five-star recruit Savvy Swords.

Swords becomes the second top-10 prospect to join Kentucky’s 2026 class, following the commitment of point guard Maddyn Greenway back in November.

According to On3, Swords is the 9th ranked player in the 2026 recruiting class. The 6-foot-1 shooting guard chose the cats over UCLA, South Carolina, Notre Dame and Michigan.
