Kentucky Secretary of State announces second annual “I Voted” sticker contest

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Secretary of State Michael Adams is once again inviting Kentucky students to show off their creativity in the second annual “I Voted” sticker contest, according to a release from his office.

The statewide competition is open to all students in grades K-12. To enter, students must submit their best design for an “I Voted” sticker. The winning artwork will be featured on stickers handed out to voters in participating counties during the 2026 primary election, the release states.

“We saw great participation and creativity in our inaugural sticker contest last year,” Adams said in the release. “I am excited to see what Kentucky students will come up with this year.”

Submissions are due by 5 p.m. EST on May 23. Entries can be uploaded at this link. Students should include their name, school, address, and phone number with the entry. All artwork must be original and must include the words “I Voted.” Images should be submitted in JPEG or PNG format.

The Secretary of State’s Office will choose finalists to appear on a ballot at the 2025 Kentucky State Fair. Fairgoers will vote for their favorite design, and the winning sticker will be used in the 2026 election cycle.
