Kentucky secondary praises defensive line
LEXINTGON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky’s defense has been the bright spot so far this season. Over the last two games, the Cats have recorded 11 tackles for loss, three sacks and three interceptions.
The defensive line has been extremely disruptive this season. Brad White credits Coach Stewart for the line’s success, as well as how tight-knit the group is and their willingness to learn. The secondary also says that the pressure up front assists them in their coverage.
“I feel like we both complement each other” said senior defensive back Ty Bryant. “I love their rush.”
Fellow DB JQ Hardaway agreed. “I appreciate those guys,” said Hardaway. “They definitely give me some confidence in the back end knowing I got those guys rushing in front of me.”
