Kentucky River Clean Sweep June 17
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – You can help keep the Bluegrass clean on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
That’s the day of the Kentucky River Clean Sweep as volunteers collect trash from the 12-miles of the Kentucky River that border Fayette County.
To take part, go to the Clays Ferry Boat Dock off Kentucky 25 under the I-75 overpass between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. that morning.
To get there, using GPS, type-in: 9079 Old Richmond Road, Lexington, KY as the address.
Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
