Kentucky native Chris Stapleton nominated for six ACM awards

NASHVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Chris Stapleton is leading the pack in nominations for the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards.

The Lexington native received six nominations in four categories: Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (both artist and producer for From A Room: Volume 2) and Song of the Year (both artist and songwriter for “Broken Halos”).

The awards ceremony takes place Sunday, April 7.

Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” tour will kick-off July 9.

He will return to Kentucky November 2 for a show at Louisville’s KFC Yum Center.
