Kentucky man charged with murder after fatal crash
BRANDENBURG, Ky. (AP) — A Breckinridge County man has been charged with murder after a fatal wreck on a Meade County highway.
The News-Enterprise reports (http://bit.ly/1BbBvAr) that police say 35-year-old Everett Miller III was traveling south on the highway Monday night in his truck pulling a trailer when he turned left into the oncoming path of motorcycle driver Gerald Neal Allen.
Police say that when Miller turned, Allen collided with the trailer.
Kentucky State Police spokesman Jeff Gregory says Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition to murder, Miller was charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicants and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
He was booked in Meade County Detention Center early Tuesday and is being held in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond.
