Kentucky Kingdom to offer free day for Louisville first responders
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Kingdom is hosting a complimentary day at the park for all active-duty Louisville Metro police officers, firefighters, and Emergency Medical Technicians and their families as a way of thanking them for their service to the community. This offer will be valid during the park’s final weekend of operation this season (Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1). All rides and attractions will be open, as will the water park.
Remarked Ed Hart, President and CEO of Kentucky Kingdom, “We are grateful for the support our first responders provide to the entire community. They work long and hard and with tremendous dedication. It’s with great pleasure and gratitude, therefore, that we offer them a day to relax and enjoy Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay with their families.”
Kentucky Kingdom is working with the Louisville Metro Police Department, Louisville Professional Firefighters Local 345, and Louisville Emergency Services to distribute complimentary admission tickets to first responders throughout the community.
