Kentucky Junior Golf holds second ‘Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier’
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A slight weather delay could not stop the second of four Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifiers in Kentucky at Man O’War Golf & Learning Center.
According to Kentucky Junior Golf, the top three golfers in each division are now exempt for the Sub-Regional Qualifier to be held on Sunday, August 1 at Persimmon Ridge Golf Club in Louisville.
The following players will be at the event and are one step closer to Augusta National Golf Club and the National Finals:
GIRLS 14-15
1) Grace Wang – 124
2) Kasey Cameron – 108 (won tiebreaker with higher score on third putt)

The youth golf organization thanked Brad Bachand, PGA Director of Golf at Man O’War Golf & Learning Center, and his staff for hosting and helping the event run smoothly. Kentucky Junior Golf also expressed their appreciation for the players and their families.
The next Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier in Kentucky will be held at Calvert City Country Club on Friday, July 9. Registration for that event will be open until Sunday, July 4 at 4:00 p.m. Those interested in registering for that event can do so by clicking here.
