Kentucky’s offense is getting prepared for No. 20 Ole Miss

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Kentucky Wildcats are getting prepared to kick off conference play against the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday. Senior Tight End Josh Kattus knows that for them to be successful against the Rebels they “don’t need to make the game bigger than it is.”

Saturday’s game will be the third meeting in four years between the Wildcats and the Rebels, with the previous two matchups being played in Oxford. Each of those meetings came down to the wire as Ole Miss topped the Wildcats 22-19 in 2022, and Kentucky upsetting the Rebels 20-17 a year ago. This will be the Rebels first trip to Lexington since the COVID-shortened 2020 season.

The Wildcats enter Saturday’s game as 10.5 point underdogs to the Rebels, so like last year they will look to shock the world this weekend. You can watch Saturday’s game at 3:30 P.M. EST on ABC 36.
