Kentucky Horse Park celebrates Back-to-School
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Back-to-school season wasn’t just for Kentucky students this week—the Kentucky Horse Park joined the fun with a playful “first day” post featuring some of its well-known equine residents.
On Wednesday, the park shared photos of its horses along with their ages. The oldest, Mr. Muscleman, is a 25-year-old veteran of the stables. The youngest, a 5-year-old named Barry, looked ready for recess.
The post also included fun details like each horse’s height in “hands,” favorite activities—ranging from socializing and zooming to napping—and even “goals” for the year. Henri’s goals? “Fit back into my old belt” and “get more belly scratches.”
The lighthearted post offered a unique twist on the traditional back-to-school theme—celebrating the day with four legs, manes, and plenty of personality.
