Kentucky dominates LSU 95-64 during senior night
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 SPORTS) – Kentucky honored six seniors with a 95-64 win over the LSU Tigers on Tuesday night.
Andrew Carr, Koby Brea, Ansley Almonor, Lamont Buter, Amari Williams and Jaxson Robinson were all celebrated as the first senior class to graduate in the Mark Pope era.
This one was all Kentucky from the jump. The cats went on a 15-2 run to start the game, and never looked back.
Otega Oweh led the team with 24 points. Brandon Garrison and Ansley Almonor both finished with 15 points. Collin Chandler was next in line with 11 points, including four rebounds and four assists.
The cats had 22 assists and rolled with 29 points in transition.
It was a strong defensive performance from Kentucky too. The cats tallied 13 steals and allowed just seven points off turnovers.
Next up, Kentucky’s final regular season test. They take on Missouri on the road on Saturday at noon.
